About the Position

We are currently seeking  a full-time technician to join our team. Tasks will vary daily depending on the complexity of each project or task. You will be specializing in the installation, servicing, maintenance and commissioning of all electronic security systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intercoms, and Security Alarm systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

› Diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions on site.
› Installation and commissioning of Security and Access Control systems including IP, CCTV, Alarm systems, integrated Access Control, and Audio/Video Intercoms.
› Manage and maintain existing systems and provide improvement or rectification suggestions based on equipment analysis.
› Maintain and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients.
› Train and mentor team members and apprentices

Minimum Requirements

› Security License Class 2 installer and adviser
› Cabling License
› Current Australian Driver’s License
› Experience as a Security Installer (Commissioning) or Service technician
› Knowledge of using and installing software on servers and workstations
› Intermediate to advanced experience with:

  • › IP networking, configuration and switch management
  • › Security Alarm System installation and programing with an overall knowledge across multiple brands.
  • › Understanding of system capabilities and limitations.
  • › Connections or interfacing with Lift Controls, Gates, Roller Doors, Lighting.
